Rachel is a Junior Member of
Texana. She portrays a Composite Character at campsites and
has written several scripts, and conducted various
Pioneer Life Skills and Crafts Workshops.
Rachel’s training with Texana has helped to earn ribbons for her skills in
quilting and other needle arts including a First Place Ribbon from the State
Fair of Texas.
Rachel is also a Girl Scout and very active
with community service. She earned the Girl Scout Bronze Award, Silver Award
and is currently working on the Gold Award. She earned the President’s
Student Services Award Gold Level for the last 5 consecutive years and
earned the Prudential Spirit of Achievement Award for the 2003-04 school
year. Her other interests include volleyball, science fair and Invention
Convention.
